Scholarships

The Michael Davis Memorial Scholarship is designed to provide financial support and mentorship to high school seniors furthering their education at a four-year college or university, community college, or technical/trade school, with an emphasis on degree completion.

 

Each year, a select group of students receive a scholarship and acceptance into the Foundation's yearlong mentorship program. This program is designed to complement on-campus resources and provide additional support throughout a student's first year of college, including guidance on a variety of academic and personal development topics.

Eligibility

To be eligible for this scholarship, applicants must: 

• Currently attend a high school in the State of Kansas

• Graduate in either December or May of the current academic year

• Plan to enroll in a 4-year college or university, community college, or technical/trade school for the upcoming academic year

• Have at least a 3.0 cumulative GPA (unweighted) at the time of their application

Award

• One-time scholarship of $500–$1,000

• Recognizes academic effort, community involvement, and personal growth
